Toyota Service History FAQs

How do I check Toyota service history?

Sign in to MyToyota, select the car and open Service History, or ask a Toyota dealer. Toyota also says the Service and Warranty booklet that came with the car holds the history. If that booklet is lost, the dealer can help. A registration check on this page does not sign you into MyToyota.

Does MyToyota show past services?

Toyota says the service history is visible in the MyToyota app for the same account after Connected Services are activated. The same login can show it on the Customer Portal. The app also shows when the next maintenance is due from mileage data. If the history tab is empty, use the booklet or ask a dealer rather than assuming no services exist.

How often does Toyota say a car should be serviced?

Toyota recommends every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. It also says some vehicles have a 24-month interval, and those need a service every two years or 20,000 miles to stay eligible for the Toyota Service Activated Warranty. The interval depends on the vehicle. Ask a dealer, or use Toyota’s booking tool, before you treat one figure as the schedule for every Toyota.

What warranty is tied to Toyota servicing?

Toyota describes a 3-year or 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty covering key components, including the engine, transmission and hybrid system. A qualifying service at an approved dealer can provide new warranty cover while the car is under 10 years old or 100,000 miles. Terms apply. A service elsewhere is not described as that same qualifying service, and the warranty wording is not itself a service printout.

What if a Toyota has no digital service history?

Start with the Service and Warranty booklet and the seller’s invoices. Toyota’s published pages describe MyToyota, the booklet and the dealer. They do not describe a route for every independent garage to write the manufacturer record. A missing app entry can be a car without Connected Services, work done elsewhere, or a lost booklet.

Can I check Toyota service history by registration?

Yes. This UK page uses the registration and does not search by VIN. A Toyota dealer may still want the VIN from the V5C or the windscreen if the plate has changed. A private plate does not start a new service record. The registration check is not the manufacturer’s own login.

What can VehicleScore show for a Toyota?

VehicleScore cannot guarantee a complete service history for a Toyota. When a data provider has supplied them, a report can show service dates, mileage, the provider and a short description of the work. A report with no service records does not prove the vehicle was never serviced. Model guides: Yaris and the Corolla.
